The Marine Parents networking community Marine Family Network (MFN) offers a private group for Gold Star families. The group is open only to Gold Star family members, and MFN users must be granted access to the group by an administrator. The group offers opportunities to communicate and share with other Gold Star families, as well as resources for family members.

18th Annual TAPS National Military Survivor Seminar and Good Grief Camp
TAPS is honored to be conducting our 18th Annual TAPS National Military Survivor Seminar and Good Grief Camp, and we are pleased that you are interested in attending our special weekend of help, hope and healing.
Thanks to the generosity of the Fisher House Foundation, TAPS is pleased to be able to offer flight assistance for the National Military Survivor Seminar and Good Grief Camp for Young Survivors. All those applying for flight assistance, must complete the a flight assistance scholarship application. For those within a 4 hour driving radius, we ask that you consider driving.
Please note that due to a very large amount of cancellations at past events, if you are granted a travel scholarship and cancel, you will not be granted travel assistance through TAPS in the future. Once the travel is requested, the ticket cannot be transferred, refunded, or reused. Please only apply if you are certain you are able to attend.

The deadline for flight assistance applications will be April 1st.
After we receive your email response, TAPS will begin the process for obtaining the airline tickets. In order to make sure that the tickets are used for the purpose intended, you will be required to register for the seminar aft er we reserve your tickets. To register, go to www.TAPS.org and simply click on the National Seminar button on the right near the top of the home page. TAPS is pleased to offer a seminar registration fee of $195 for each adult and $75 for each child. Registration fees defray the cost of the included meals, ground transportation, workshops, and conference materials. We are honored to be able to charge attendees only a fraction of the costs we incur. Once you have registered each person for the seminar, TAPS will complete the confirmation process for the airline tickets.
Please be aware that you will also need to register for your hotel rooms. The Crystal Gateway Marriott or the Crystal City Marriott has deeply discounted the price so that the TAPS nightly rate is $125.00. This does not reflect the tax which will be added upon checkout. You can register for your hotel rooms right from the TAPS site, too.
