The family of Jeremy Lasher is holding the 1st Annual “LCpl Jeremy S. Lasher Memorial Golf Tournament” on July 31, 2010 at the Kanon Valley Country Club, Oneida, NY.

Jeremy was a Lance Corporal in the United States Marine Corps and on July 23, 2009 he was killed in action (KIA) in Afghanistan. Prior to his enlistment, Jeremy was an active member of the Verona Volunteer Fire Department. His passion for helping others was what motivated him to become both a Marine and a Fireman.

In honor of Jeremy and what he believed in, they are asking for your support to raise money for American Legion Post #169 of Oneida and the Verona Volunteer Fire Department.

Both the Verona Fire Department and the American Legion offered an enormous amount of support and their many Veterans, Active Duty Personnel, Volunteers and their families were instrumental in giving LCpl. Jeremy S. Lasher the homecoming he had earned.

Jeremy believed in giving back and his family would like to carry on his legacy through this Golf Tournament with your help. Your contributions through sponsorship and/or donations to this tournament to support these two organizations would be greatly appreciated.
