MarineParents.com, Inc. began an initiative last year to encourage Americans to light a luminary on Gold Star Mother's Day to honor and acknowledge the mothers and families of our fallen heroes. This year, we are asking you to pledge your support for the luminary initiative and encourage members of your community to light luminaries on that day. Our goal is to represent at least 10 communities in each state this September 25, 2011 with Gold Star Mother's Day Luminaries.
